SCCM 2007 – Find Package Name from Package ID

This is an application I developed long time ago to get the Package name from a Package ID in Configuration Manager 2007.

The application can be handy when an operating system installation crashes and the error message on the screen tells you that a package is missing on a distributi point. If the error message will reference to a Pakage ID it is not always easy to find the right Package with only the Package ID information.

The appllication will show you the Package Name by entering the Package ID in to the application.

ConfigMgr2007Search

You can also search for an application, driver and collection by name in the application.

Feel free to try it out!
