If you get the Error “Cannot resolve display name [Pending] to name” in your Orchestrator activity log for System Center Service Manager it could be a problem with your language settings for the Orchestrator service account.

Check what language the service account is using. If it is not set to English (United States) try changing it to English (United States), restart the service and try the Runbook again.
You can see what language the service account is running under by checking the register with regedit.
If not English start a command prompt with the Orchestrator service account credentials and run intl.cpl. Change the language and restart the Orchestrator Services.
